News of the TrackStand has now officially got to the other side of the World. BikeRadar author, Colin Levitch, who is based in Sydney, has reviewed the TrackStand as part of a feature on "What's hot and what's not" in bike related crowdfunding projects and he's done it on the Worlds biggest cycling blog. Big sigh of relief, we are in the "what's hot" section, so with two weeks still to run on Kickstarter, fingers crossed that we reach our goal.

Great news! We will be providing all the bike racking for this year's Eroica Britannia in May. This celebration of "Old Time" cycling takes place around Bakewell in the Peak District and is more than just a cycling event, everyone dresses in retro clothing and ride pre-1987 bikes and the whole event village is like stepping into the past. So our FastRacks will be making parking bikes a pleasure for everyone who has entered.

The big day has arrived, the launch of our first project on Kickstarter. After nearly a year from inception, we have pushed the big red button and the project is now live. You can see it here The TrackStand and please share it with family, friends, riding buddies and colleagues. It's been a labour of love but it has been real hard work at times. So here's to the success of the TrackStand and we'll keep you all updated as we go along.

The FastRacks we supplied to Upper Street Events looked and worked great at the NEC Cycle Show. They were used all over the place, for demo bikes from the worlds leading bike companies to visitor parking outside the hall. Here's what Stephen Morgan of Upper Street Events had to say about them;
“Steve supplied the show with his design of FastRacks, this was after recommendation from exhibitors who we work with and it was well placed. You know that feeling when something just works, well that is the feeling we had with these racks. They are light weight, compact, stupidly easy to assemble, look the part and do the job. We will be working with Steve to get more of the racks for the show and congratulate him on his products!”
I know I'm biased but they did look good in two tone blue, it would have been great to see all thirty of them together.

This weekend we'll be heading down to Newnham Park for this year's Bontrager Twenty Four 12 Mountain Bike epic event. There'll be some very serious racing going on but there is also a great atmosphere with a "Chill Out" Teepee, free beer tasting and live music from various performers. The cherry on the cake though, is that we will be providing the official bike racking for the teams' transition area. We'll also have our trade display, so if you are going, make sure you call and say hello.

What a day yesterday was, a 600 mile round trip delivering FastRacks. The first stop was at Bike Swanky's new venture near Woking, where they now have a Cyclist Hub. They have a fantastic range of bikes, from kid's Frog bikes to an ultra top end, one off De Rosa and Paul and Andy are great guys too. The FastRacks they took are destined for the Army and Outdoor Traders Cycle teams, so keep a look out for them at events. The second stop was at Muc-Off's headquarters at Poole, where they took delivery of another pink and black FastRack that's destined for Rocket and Rascals bike shop. What a fantastic place it is too and the guys there made me feel really welcome, if you've seen the new Santander advert featuring Muc-Off, you get some idea of what I mean. Muc-Off have big plans for the future and one of those plans is to offer branded FastRacks to their stockists, so I'm buzzing at the moment because Muc-Off have a World-wide presence. Watch this space! Sorry I can't post any pictures but I forgot to take my Phone (Doh!)

We've taken the decision to rename the OdRack Clubman to the PackRack and the OdRack Pro to the FastRack. We feel these new names are more descriptive of the way that the racks function and the purpose they serve. We're delighted with the new graphics too and the way we've been able to incorporate a stylised version of the racks into them, it seems to give them more impact.
We hope you like them too.

This weekend we will be exhibiting at Ripon Triathlon Festival, held at Ripon racecourse. This will be a first for us, as we've never shown at a triathlon before and not quite sure what to expect. We'll let you know how we get on and hopefully the weather will be kind and sales will be good but as long as we get to meet plenty of people, it will be all good.

It's official, due to popular demand, the OdPod is now available in stealth mode. Matt black has become a standard colour option, so that means this gorgeous finish can be had at the regular price.

Wow, what a trip! UK Gravity Enduro round 2 at Innerleithen, followed by the Enduro World Series round 2 at Peebles. Both events bring out the best in mountain biking and it was great for us to be a part of it, especially the EWS, where the worlds best riders can mix it up with youngsters and old guys who should know better and as we were minding the store, we were also spotting stars like Steve Peat, Cedric Gracia and Jared Graves walking or riding past.
We even managed to sneak in a ride ourselves at Glentress between events, which was great fun until Dan misjudged a wet root and went over the bars. Still, he rode through the pain and we made it to the top, so we got the full downhill benefit of the red route, which was quite testing in places.
We met the World famous Dudes of Hazzard on the way up (if you haven't seen their videos on YouTube, your missing a treat) and I got my picture taken with them, Joe Barnes on my left, came third in the Senior men's category at the Enduro World Series.
All in all, it was brilliant, we even sold loads of OdPods and OdRacks
